On February 23, 2024, the 2024 New Year’s Spring Opening Sharing Forum, hosted by the Cambodia Internet Startup Association (CISA), was successfully held at the Ly Hout Condominium in Phnom Penh. Notably, this event marked the second sharing forum organized by the Cambodia Internet Startup Association (CISA).
Mr. Feng Lifa, President of the Cambodian (Chinese) Calligraphers Association, Mr. Li Jianggan, Founder of Momentum Works, Mr. Chy Sila, Founder of Sabay, and Mr. Darren Teng, Chairman of the Cambodia Securities, were among the distinguished guests who attended this event. Additionally, representatives from various member units of the Cambodia Internet Startup Association (CISA) and invited corporate delegates, totaling more than 100 people, participated in this gathering.
During the event, Mr. Li Jianggan, Founder of Momentum Works, started his presentation by analyzing macro markets, corporate research, and other aspects. He provided a detailed analysis of the development status and future trends of each ASEAN country. Mr. Li emphasized that the e-commerce sector has enormous growth potential in Southeast Asia, and over the next 5 years, the optimal scale of the e-commerce sector in the region is projected to reach 232 billion USD. Additionally, in Southeast Asia, financial technology remains the most critical area of interest for investors. In 2023, the financial investment sector accounted for 41% of total investments, with a cumulative scale of approximately 921 million USD.”

Mr. Chy Sila, Founder of Sabay, initiated the discussion by addressing the market environment in Cambodia and sharing his team’s pertinent experiences in investing in notable projects within the country. Mr. Darren Teng, Chairman of the Cambodia Securities, delivered a comprehensive explanation and analysis of the listing support program for Cambodian small and venture enterprises. He underscored that Cambodia is Cambodia is developing rapidly, has enormous potential, and is highly attractive for investment. The support program for small and medium-sized enterprises extends beyond financial aid; it also encompasses a range of policies aimed at assisting these enterprises in areas such as product sales, customer acquisition, and venue support, thereby facilitating their swift growth. Going forward, Cambodia Securities will collaborate with the Cambodian government to jointly promote a favorable business environment in Cambodia.”

In addition to the captivating presentations by invited guests, Mr. Feng Lifa, President of the Cambodian (Chinese) Calligraphers Association, graced the event with an exquisite calligraphy performance.
